Travel to the Keukenhof by public transport

Plan your trip to visit the springtime! You can visit the Keukenhof between March 21nd and May 19th 2019. Buy your ticket for the bus and entrance to the Keukenhof now. There are several options.

Travel by the Keukenhof Express from Leiden or Schiphol Airport

Planning on visiting the Keukenhof? The easiest way is to travel by public transport. The Keukenhof Express will take you from Schiphol Plaza or Leiden Central Station to the main entrance of the Keukenhof without any stops. The Keukenhof Express (bus lines 858 or 854) travel 4 to 12 times an hour. This means you will never have to wait long for the next bus. The busses are in our travel planner so plan your trip to visit the springtime!

Please note: on Saturday 13 April 2019 there will be no buses to and from Keukenhof due to the Bloemencorso or flower float parade.

Combi-tickets for the Keukenhof

Your day at the Keukenhof is more comfortable and economical with a Combi-ticket. With a Combi-ticket you do not have to stand in line at the Keukenhof. The bus driver will stop at the main entrance, from where you can enter the park directly. And, in addition, the Combi-ticket is often cheaper than your travel costs, parking costs and entrance fee for the Keukenhof combined! There are two sorts of Combi-tickets:

Combi-ticket: Bus + Keukenhof Entrance

The Combi-ticket Bus + Keukenhof Entrance is your bus ticket for the Keukenhof Express from Leiden (854) or Schiphol (858) and your entrance ticket to Keukenhof at the same time.

With the Combi-ticket you can also travel on the following bus lines:

  • 50 from Haarlem to Keukenhof. You can exit in Lisse at busstop: Vreewijk. It is a 15 minute walk to the Keukenhof from here.
  • 90 from Katwijk, Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout in the direction Keukenhof. It is an 11 minute walk to the Keukenhof from here.

A Combi-ticket for adults from Amsterdam, Uithoorn and Aalsmeer costs € 30,00; from Schiphol, Leiden and Haarlem € 25,00. For children from 4 – 11 years a Combi-ticket costs €13,50. 

Combi-ticket: Train + Bus + Keukenhof entrance

Do you plan on travelling to Schiphol Plaza or Leiden Central Station by train, and taking the Keukenhof Express (bus lines 854 or 858) from there on? Or to Haarlem station and traveling further by bus line 50? Then you can buy the Combi-ticket for train + bus + Keukenhof entrance. You can order the Combi-ticket train + bus + Keukenhof entrance online until 19 May 2019. This Combi-ticket is valid up to and including 19 May 2019 from all stations in The Netherlands.
